Assessment Description . .. This is a group project. You will be provided with a dataset pertaining to the operations of a retail organisation. You need to analyse this data and present insights using a BI tool of your choice. Describe the current mode of operation, possible inefficiencies, available data and how this data may be used to provide efficiencies based on the concepts and techniques covered in the subject. On-Campus students For students studying the subject face-to-face the presentation will run in class in Week 12. Online Students Online students are advised to record their presentations using Zoom, an online platform which allows you to easily record a presentation as an MP4 file. This file should then be uploaded privately to YouTube, and emailed to your lecturer by 11.55pm AEST Friday of Week 12. Note: The written report is due AT 11:55 pm on the Monday of week 12. Zoom allows content/screen sharing. You are allowed to screen share soft copy handouts or use a whiteboard application (available through the zoom platform). You are not permitted to use PowerPoint slides. See detailed zoom instructions on page 3 of this document about how to record and upload your presentation. Assessment Marking Rubric This report will be marked on the grounds of whether or not the following competencies are present. Writing Style Present The introduction states the purpose of the report and its structure. The conclusion summarises the arguments and draws them together into a cohesive finish. The body of the report contains sections that are logically connected to each other. There are fewer than three spelling or grammatical errors per page. The format of the paper is double-spaced, using 12-point font, and within 10% of the word limit. References are included where required with each one recorded in the Harvard format. This is a free platform. •This platform allows you to make a recording of your presentation. The website will refer to your recording as a “meeting” •Once you record the presentation/meeting it will be saved to your computer as an MP4 file. 1. Sign up for Zoom •While doing your presentation you can simultaneously share your screen.
