This chapter encompasses the methodological approaches that will help in understanding the requirement of a research methodology in identifying the importance of organizational behavior. The requirements of organizational behavior in managing the culture of the warehouse companies in Victoria along with the good impact. The benefits of organizational behavior in the workplace will also be identified in the literature section by the application of different methodological strategies. The research design as well as this sample will be analyzed here. The questionnaire design along with the data collection methods will also be analyzed here.

Research design

Research methodological design

In this research methodology, the data about organizational behavior and its benefits will be collected through research design, research approach, and research philosophy. A detail about organizational behavior and its effect is the organizational culture will be the main question which will be obtained through the application of research design where a wide range of information will be collected. There are mainly three types of research design which are explanatory research design, exploratory research design, and finally descriptive research design. Bentouhami et al. (20211) stated that the applications of explanatory research design are quite easy to assess and it also helps in developing a greater understanding of organizational behavior. Collecting in-depth information about the impact of organizational behavior on the warehouses of Victoria would be easier by the application of explanatory research design but predicting the future cause and effect relationships is quite difficult in this case. It also creates difficulties in developing core relations between the different variables of organizational behaviors and it does not lead to an appropriate conclusion by following the research findings which is the main reason behind not selecting it for this research execution process.

Exploratory research design could be a savior in this case as it provides greater flexibility which will help identify the impacts of organizational behavior and identify the exact organization’s behavioral theories for the execution of the task. On the contrary Chouinard et al. (2019) stated that it also helps in adopting the new progress at a low cost providing a greater foundation to the researchers but it will not be selected in this case as it only offers inconclusive results. Luck in the standardized analysis will also hamper the entire task. This research will be conducted with quantitative data collection methods which will not be supported by this small sample research design. Besides it also provides outdated information which will not be appropriate in this case.

This research work on the impact of organizational behavior on the organizational culture of the warehouse companies in Victoria will be done by the application of a descriptive research design. Although descriptive research design does not help in verifying the research problem which comprises the employee dissatisfaction factors because of gender and cultural discrimination in the organizations. A level of bias can be observed in this case and it also includes repeatability in the research work which may not be accepted in some cases. On the contrary, Atmowardoyo (2018) analyzed that this research design highly allows for identifying and analyzing the facts such as employee satisfaction issues in the organization which will help identify an in-depth understanding of the reasons behind poor behavioral issues. Identifying the solutions regarding organizational behavior is quite easier in this case which will help the researcher to highly focus on developing the behaviors required in the organization.

Research approach

Research approaches are the plans and procedures that mainly include broad assumptions about the data collection method, its analysis, and interpretation. There are mainly two types of research approaches which are deductive and inductive. The application of the inductive research approach can be highly beneficial as it is high reflexible in gathering information about organizational behavior and it also allows the new generation theory in executing the research work but there is a list of issues which is the reasons behind the high reluctance to use it for this research purpose. Walter and Ophir, (2021) discussed that organizing the data along with the research requirements is highly important in this case along with the accurate formulation which will only be possible in the case of a deductive research approach

This specific research work will be conducted with the applications of the deductive research approach. A deductive research approach will help the researchers in explaining the causal relationships between the variables and concepts of organizational behavior. Woiceshyn and Daellenbach (2018) mentioned that the different concepts of organizational behavior and measuring those concepts can easily be identified quantitatively in the case of applying the deductive research approach. Some findings regarding organizational behavioral theories will easily be identified in this research work which is the reason behind selecting it as the appropriate research approach for executing the task on organizational behavior in the warehouse organizations in Victoria.

Research philosophy

Research philosophy can be considered as a belief that helps in collecting data about the important phenomenon of the research work and also helps in analyzing it properly. There are mainly three types of research philosophies that are generally used in different research works. Those types are realism, interpretivism, and positivism research philosophies.

Realism philosophy could be a good choice in identifying important information about organizational behaviors as it lays huge emphasis on the applications of practical knowledge and provides dynamic development in adaptability. It highly emphasizes science and technology and also developed concepts about disciplines. Improving the objectivity and proper ants towards the organizational behavior will be the main requirement in applying this theory but it only emphasizes the real physical world and does not place proper visibility on hypothesis factors. Taylor, (2018) discussed that it highly ignores the importance of imagination and emotions. It does not provide ideal values to the organizational development strategies in improving the organizational behavior which is the main reason behind avoiding it in executing this specific research work.

Interpretivism research philosophy also will not be used in this research work. This specific research philosophy provides a greater view of the subjective quantitative data and provides greater validity to the researchers in developing researcher imposition. In the country, it only provides generalizable data which may not be appropriate for executing this specific result. Pham, (2018) confronts that the representativeness of the Interpretivism research philosophy is quite low whereas it provides low reliability to the research work. It is the main reason behind avoiding this research philosophy in identifying important information about the organizational behavior of where health companies in Victoria.

The research work will be conducted with the help of positivism research philosophy. Here an elaborated information about the importance of organizational behavior and its impact on organizational culture will be identified which can be collected through the application of positivism research philosophy. This specific search philosophy provides quantitative data along with value freedom which will be beneficial in completing the research process. Different organizational behavioral theories have also been presented in the literature along with the benefits of organizational behavior in the workplace which will help in identifying the different trends and patterns of the organizations in the case of developing employee behavior (Alharahsheh and Pius, 2020). It will provide greater reliability to the researchers in developing representativeness. The major reason behind selecting it as the research philosophy is it provides generalizable and objective data to the researcher which will develop a greater understanding of the importance of organizational behavior.

Research sample

This specific research work is entirely dependent on organizational behavior and its impact on the organizational culture. Here the data will be collected through a survey where 51 respondents will take part in the process. The primary quantitative data will be collected on the different aspects of the research topic. The questions of the question is will be asked about the importance of organizational culture and related theories affecting organizational behavior. The good and bad impacts of organizational behavior on the warehouse companies in Victoria will also be analyzed in this section along with the benefits of organizational behavior in the walk places. Some challenges faced by the organization in managing the organizational behaviors will also be interpreted in the questions of this question yet which will help in developing a greater understanding of the importance of employee behavior in the company.

The random probability data sampling will be used as it will help in understanding the systemic errors in the sampling process. The sampling bias can easily be detected by the application of probability sampling. The research findings on the importance of organizational behavior can easily be reliable by the application of probability sampling. It provides greater accuracy to the researchers by avoiding sampling errors. There is a possibility of making interferences in the research process (Sarstedt et al. 2018). The random probability data sampling will be beneficial because of its straightforwardness in the application process and exhaust effectiveness which is quite necessary to the researchers in completing the research within a particular budget.


In this research work, the data will be collected from the managers and employees of the warehouse companies in Victoria. Around 51 respondents among the managers and employees will be selected for answering the questions regarding organizational behavior. A questionnaire will be created comprising the questions on the importance of organizational behavior and its there. The benefit of developing organizational behavior and the challenges assembled with it will also be asked to the respondents. The positive and negative impacts of the organizational behavior will also be developed by throwing questions to the respondents. The questions will be in agreement and disagree format (Moser and Korstjens, 2018). A descriptive interview format will be avoided in this case because of the requirements for a higher sample size. After collecting the answers from the participants an analysis will occur in the process of concluding. The hypothetical vision of it will help the researchers to identify proper information about improving organizational behavior. The primary quantitative data will be needed in this section to develop a greater understanding of the topic. Some of the questions that will be included in the research work are

1. What is the importance of organizational behavior in maintaining the organizational culture of the warehouse companies in Victoria?

2. What are the major requirements in developing organizational behavior?

3. What are the organizational development theories required to develop organizational behaviors?

The questions will be asked through an online medium such as email, google meet. It will be helpful in connecting with 51 respondents directly in small time.

Envisaged data collection and analysis

The data collection method helps in gathering information about the research topic. There are mainly two types of data collection methods which are primary and secondary data collection methods. The secondary data are generally collected from secondary sources which are newspapers, books, articles, and peer-reviewed journals. This source of data is not appropriate for collecting original information about organizational behavior. Besides, it is not a perfect fit for collecting recent information for a particular organization. The higher availability of the data sources sometimes creates a bias in executing the research process. The lower accuracy, dependency, and sufficiency factors are also responsible for not selecting the primary data collection method for the research work.

Among the primary qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, the qualitative method will not be taken in executing this research as it is quite difficult to develop comparisons. This method is not useful in understanding the correlation among the findings. It does not provide greater samples that result in low representativeness (Johnson et al. 2020). Providing lower reliability factors is another major issue in applying the primary data collection method. A greater subjective bias can be seen in organizational behaviors. Generally, primary qualitative data is not supported by positivists which is why researchers will skip qualitative data.

The research work will be conducted with the primary quantitative data collection method. A survey will be conducted here with 51 respondents from the employees and the managers of warehouse companies in Victoria. It provides the scope of collecting data about organizational behavior rapidly and randomized samples. Offering reliable information and generalization the research finding are other major benefits of using primary quantitative data. It provides the scope of anonymous research and helps in performing remotely (Shah et al. 2020). A larger sample size can easily be identified by the application of the quantitative data collection method which is the reason behind choosing it for completing the research.

The research work is entirely focused on the importance of organizational behavior which highly influences the employee behavior factors in the organization and creates a greater understanding of the organizational culture in warehouse companies. The impact of organizational behavior is another major subject of the research work which has been indicated through the Different challenges observed in the company. But the research work does not include the mitigation strategies that could help the researchers in identifying some solutions to deal with the problems.

Maintaining research ethics is another mandatory requirement. Any kind of discrimination will not be Entertained by the researchers. All the respondents and cultural communities will get equal scores and share information about the organizational behavior in the case of warehouse organizations in Victoria. In order to identify the authenticity of the data only selected candidates will be able to take part in the survey which will help in gaining information so only. Any kind of harm to other communities will not be observed in this section. The data protection act, of 1998 will be applied here to the information served by the respondents. Besides any kind of confidentiality kind of issues will not be promoted in this data collection method. The respondents must have greater experience in the organization and must have good knowledge of developing organizational behavior. A proper analysis will be done to get the access on the right people in which a voting process will be done with the company for candidate selection. In this case internet medium will be used for interacting. And the data will be analyzed under the guidance of experienced people. The results will be matched with the online records to understand the appropriateness of the Research.


This research work is entirely focused on the importance of organizational behavior in developing greater organizational culture. The impact of organizational behavior on the organizational culture and its different benefits of it has been analyzed in the research work. Some challenges have also been considered in this section including the issues regarding employee satisfaction and gender discrimination in the workplace which is affecting the organizational culture. The main focus of the research work is to introduce different strategies and develop organizational behavior for which are different methodological approach has been introduced here. Here the positivism research philosophy, deductive research approach, and descriptive research design have been applied along with the primary quantitative data collection method.
