Task Description
Following on from your Assessment 2, you will have received detailed critical feedback from your
learning facilitator and industry mentor on your Enterprise proposal.
Having absorbed that feedback and assimilated it objectively and appropriately into your ongoing
strategy, you will now deliver a 10 to 12-minute presentation to a panel of discerning investors. The
presentation will also be submitted for marking.
Context
The focus of Assessment 3 is the opportunity for you to showcase your knowledge and expertise in
an enterprise and your ability for entrepreneurial thinking to design a robust and scalable business
solution that addresses an issue for which you are passionate about.
Your assessment is intended to serve three purposes and will be evaluated on your ability to:
clearly provide a solution to an issue for which you are passionate about
demonstrate fulfilment of all academic requirements as defined within the Learning
Outcomes, and
create a professional, viable and compelling presentation for discerning investors, partners
and stakeholders to potentially invest in your Enterprise.
Task Instructions
Based on feedback and coaching from your learning facilitator and industry mentor over the last 11 weeks,
you are to present your final Enterprise in a 10 to 12-minute presentation to a panel of potential investors.
Design your presentation using an application you are comfortable with such as PowerPoint, Prezi or
similar.
Your final presentation must include the following:
a) A general introduction that outlines the origins and scope of the issue for which you are
passionate about, and revisits the research components and maps the development of the final
solution to your Enterprise in a compelling and credible statement of intent.
b) A clear demonstration of your solution, the Customer Value Proposition, Total Addressable
Market and the Unique Selling Proposition.
c) A viable venture/business plan component that makes the case in commercial and/or social
and/or sustainability terms depending on your choice of enterprise. You will be expected to
demonstrate costs, revenues and break-even point over a 3-year period as well as how the
initiative can be funded through reallocation, or that it can generate its own revenue.
d) A complete Business Model Canvas for which you will be expected to have full details on request
from any members of your audience.
e) An outline of the Enterprise sustainability and scalability.

f) This analysis should be supported by potential clients endorsing the proposal for the use or
deployment of the proposed solution.
g) A concise statement, or executive summary, should be provided at the start that consolidates
the drafts of the last 12 weeks to represent a compelling and viable proposal. At this point,
actual organisations, companies or bodies of interest should be identified towards whom the
proposition might conceivably be pitched. This executive summary is designed specifically to
pique their interest and encourage them to study the entire document in detail.
h) A concluding summary and rationale and call to action for potential investors.
i) Your presentation should reflect a professional standard of visual communication design that clearly
represents and supports the content of your proposal.
